Green Ivy Weekly Update: November 9th, 2015

It’s a rainy, gloomy morning in San Francisco – the perfect morning to write and be productive. Last week, I spoke with a terrific group of dads on Social Media Wellness, and in some ways they were one of my all-time favorite audiences. During my talk, they were all completely engaged, and not one left early or checked his phone. They asked great questions, and were surprised about the social media apps their kids were using that they had never heard of. It was a great reminder that I need to finish my book, and the information is really needed.
We’re about to begin the holiday season, and I came across this article on 15 secrets of highly productive people, which provides helpful tips for all of us (hint: keep your work space tidy, work less, and practice the 80/20 rule). My personal trick is I take five minutes the night before to write down the most important things to do the next day, and put a post-it note on my computer so those tasks are top of mind in the morning. Works for me – the key is whatever works best for you and your children.
Next week marks the 14th (!) anniversary of Green Ivy, and I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for all the people, experiences, and wonderfulness that has come into my life because of our work. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children.
With warmest regards,
Ana + Green Ivy Staff
