2025 Summer Programs

At Green Ivy Educational Consulting, we view summer as the perfect time to spend time outdoors, read, explore, rest and reflect.

Our summer offerings include executive functioning, math and writing skill development, and college application support, all work to create the foundation for a more successful and less stressful school year. All programs are personalized to meet the needs of each student.

Our summer schedule runs from June 9-August 15, 2025. All programs are available in-person in our Los Altos, CA office (Monday-Thursday) and virtually (Monday-Friday). We are closed for our summer holiday June 30-July 11, 2025.

Summer 2025 offerings:

Executive Functioning Skills (Grades 6-12 and College Students)

Our five 90-minute or eight 50-minute sessions summer executive functioning (EF) skills summer curriculum focuses on helping students with organizing, planning, prioritizing, starting and completing tasks and remaining adaptable when things might not go as planned. We use summer schedules and tasks to create a starting point for organizational life skills, with an emphasis on finding extra free time for interests and hobbies, managing stress and improved rest and sleep.

We offer executive functioning skills development during the summer and school year for middle school, high school students and college students.

Writing Program (Grades 6-12)

Our summer writing program is offered over five 90-minute or eight 50-minute sessions and aims to be transformative - our goal is to help each student develop their written communication and analysis with positive, constructive feedback. We individually design our curriculum for each one-on-one workshop based on students’ current writing samples and a general questionnaire. In addition to the personalized sessions, students enrolled in our writing workshops are welcome to attend weekly Zoom office hours throughout the summer to receive additional guidance between sessions, or throughout the summer.

Math Review (Grades 4-11)

We’ve seen many students experience glaring gaps in their math understanding, and that others benefit from continued support. We begin our 10 session math reviews with a knowledge quest to evaluate a student’s current understanding, and develop a core one-on-one program based  opportunities for growth. Our math review can cover topics including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and pre-calculus, and usually includes about an hour of self-guided practice outside of each session.

College Application Support (Rising High School Seniors)

We assist students in creating a thoughtful list of colleges, and then organize the college application process so students highlight their individualized interests, abilities and skills. We spend a great deal of time supporting students with their narrative writing development, particularly as it relates to the personal statement and supplements.

We have a four-day college application jumpstart workshop that can be completed as a standalone experience, and also as part of our ongoing comprehensive college application support.
